Administrator's Welcome

Pastor's Welcome

Welcome to Resurrection!

At Resurrection we strive to live the Gospel of Jesus, both through our worship services and through ministering to those in spiritual and physical need. Our parish community has a welcoming atmosphere and a strong sense of Catholic community. In addition to sharing in the celebration of the Mass and many religious services, our parishioners can also participate in numerous parish and community groups, and our parish school, Resurrection Grammar School, offers children in Pre-school through Grade 8 an excellent faith-based education. Please contact us if you have any questions and thank you for your interest in our parish and our school.

Rev. Monsignor Donald M. Dwyer

Principal's Welcome

We have much to be proud of here at Resurrection School. God has certainly blessed our parish school abundantly. Resurrection provides an excellent Catholic education where each child is seen as a unique gift from God who possesses individual gifts and talents. Our school is actively supported by our Pastor, Msgr. Donald Dwyer. Our teachers are dedicated and professional, our students are enthusiastic and eager to learn, and our parents take an active role in their children’s education. We have a strong emphasis on community service/outreach.

As our mission states, we are committed to developing within each child a nurturing spirituality and a genuine love of learning. We strive to help each child make intelligent and responsible choices.

Our primary educational goal is to create an atmosphere where religion is recognized, not as an isolated subject, but rather an integral part of the school curriculum, and in the lives of the students and teachers. We offer a comprehensive academic curriculum which we hope not only challenges our students but also inspires in them a love for learning. Physical education, Spanish, art, music, computer, library, science lab, and small group classes are also offered to our students.

I am extremely proud to be part of such a wonderful school community. On Spirit Days, you will hear our chant, “We are Resurrection!” Certainly, we hope you experience all that those words embody – a school of exceptional students and teachers and parents!

Sr. Anne Massell, Principal

Asst. Principal's Welcome

Welcome to our website, and thank you for your interest in Resurrection School!

At Resurrection Middle School students are provided with an enriching and caring educational environment. Students are taught to respect themselves, their fellow students, teachers, staff, and all of God’s creation. We encourage students to develop their own special bond with God in addition to striving towards academic excellence. Through this encouragement students will aim to be leaders both in and out of the classroom during their time here and throughout their individual future endeavors.

The opportunities for success at Resurrection Middle School are endless. Resurrection is proud to offer its students a challenging and rewarding academic curriculum that is taught by an excellent staff of experienced teachers. Instruction is provided using traditional methods, through small group instruction, and by using the most updated technological platforms.

In addition, volunteerism is something we promote greatly at Resurrection. Community service projects such as the annual Make a Difference Day are an integral part of our school year. Our graduates will leave with not only a solid academic foundation from which they can excel at a high school level, but also with a better sense of relationship with God and their community.

Resurrection provides the opportunity for students to enroll in many extracurricular activities. This includes sports such as cross country, basketball, soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, tennis, and baseball. Students are also encouraged to participate as altar servers and in the annual school play.

I am thankful to be part of such a wonderful school community where students are engaged, teachers are dedicated, and all are continuing toward becoming the best they can be. I hope you will take time to visit our Middle School to see what wonderful opportunities are available for our students when they become part of our school family.
