Why are fundraisers necessary?

Tuition covers approximately 81% of the actual annual cost to educate a student. The difference between what is paid in tuition and the actual cost to educate our students must be made up be funds provided by the Resurrection Parish and donations to the Annual Fund and additional PTO and Fathers' Club fundraising events.


What is the difference in giving to the Annual Fund versus the PTO or Fathers' Club fundraisers?

The money raised is all used for the same purpose, to support Resurrection School. The difference between giving to the Annual Fund and purchasing an item at one of the other fundraisers is that 100% of the money given to the Annual Fund is a donation. No merchandise is received for the donation, thus making the donation fully tax deductible. In addition, unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund provide maximum flexibility to apply funds where they are needed most and facilitate matching contributions from foundations and corporations.


Can I serve on the Resurrection School Foundation Board?

We welcome your support and participation to promote the foundation's success. If interested, please contact the Foundation President, Christopher Marangi, at ChrisMarangi@gmail.com. School parents who express interest may be proposed for election to the Board for the three year term. The Board for each school year is established and voted upon during the first meeting of the academic year.
