Earth Day Celebration 2007
The Friends of Rye Nature Center will host over two dozen environmental organizations and green businesses for an Earth Day Celebration.
Sunday, April 22nd, 2007
1 – 4 pm
Rye Nature Center
The event is open to the public at no charge. It features exhibitors, demonstrations, lectures, guided hikes, activities and a showing of student artwork.
You can learn to improve your yards and households from a wide variety of speakers and workshops on topics ranging from organic lawn care, nature-friendly household products and green investing. The event will also focus globally with discussions on hot environmental topics in Westchester County, environmental literacy and global warming.
Join the Friends of Rye Nature Center and its partnering organizations in celebrating the earth with a nature poetry hike and student art show!
